Nikki & Family

I had taken Nikki's son's portraits about a month ago for his birthday so, obviously I was excited to work with her again! I have had a little trouble with Devan the last few times, as all two years olds usually are at first, but he did GREAT this time. I would say it was one of his best sessions yet! Honestly, the children usually do much better with their parents than by themselves..usually lol. I think Devan felt more comfortable this time especially since he seemed to remember me! He was happy when he saw me and even gave me a high five! So I knew the turn out would be good!

I of course got portraits of the family along with each of them with Devan, and since parents never really get pictures of themselves done (especially when they are focused on getting their kids pictures taken most of the time) I decided to get a few shots of Nikki and her husband as well! They are so adorable together and clearly still in love! I also got great shots of Devan alone, even though we already got pictures of him for his birthday but, I figured we get some of him in his 'normal' outfit! LOL (his birthday outfit was a superhero costume.) Can't wait to work with Nikki again! She is always so pleasant, nice, and continues to tell her friends and family about me, which I love! Alyssa & Family

Alyssa has been trying to get pictures done with me for a while, so we finally scheduled something! At first, her session was going to be just of her little daughter, Jazlin, but then we decided to add in the family pictures, and I am SO happy that she did!

We almost didn't get Dad in the photos (Alyssa's boyfriend, Brent) but I am glad he agreed to hop in some! Not enough people do family pictures now a-days so it's nice to get them done before your kids don't want to anymore! And it happens, trust me lol

Of course Jazlin did amazing for her pictures by herself! She smiled through out the entire session and obviously thought I was hilarious! I absolutely LOVED her blue blue eyes. One day, when I have children, I hope my kids have blue eyes like hers. They're beautiful. I am hoping to have the opportunity to take Jazlin's picture again in the future! She was so much fun to work with!

Krystle & Family

I was so happy Krystle had contacted me for a session for her and her family! I had taken Krystle's pictures once before at a corporate studio company I used to work for that shut down. It just so happened that she was also related to a past client of mines! (Eddie & Meghan's Wedding - she is Eddie's cousin!) I had ran into her AT the wedding and she had recognized me! What a small world!

We decided to go to my usual spot where I have taken some of my clients. I got great shots of the family as well as the children together and separately. I even decided to get a shot of Kystle and Matt (her husband) together since I am sure its been a while since they've gotten one! I even joked and said "it's like being married all over again isn't it?" :)

Little Jude, the 2 year old, did great! He didn't smile too much but you can always still get a great shot even if they are just looking into the camera. With his bright eyes, how can you not love a serious shot?

Emma, Kystle's oldest, was a little model throughout the entire session! She loves the camera and posing for it. She always seem to enjoy getting her pictures taken! What a beautiful little girl!

Andrea & Family

This session would have to be one of my favorites. Andrea had won a contest I was running and was really excited for me to take her family's portraits. She hadn't even gotten professional portraits done before these, so I was definitely honored to be the first!

Her son Zackary, who was two and half, did amazing! He wasn't sure about me at first and didn't even want to look at me, but as soon as we got to the location, he instantly warmed up to me! He wanted me to chase him, and he chased me, smiling away. We were best friends by the end of the session!

Andrea was so happy with everything that she has been recommending me to all of her friends and family and I am so grateful for that. I can't wait to work with her again in the future! Here are some of my favorites!
