The A Girls!

I really enjoyed working with Aisha and her girls! It was a brisk late afternoon when we arrived at the location we chose. Aisha had made some gorgeous tutu's for the girls and I couldn't wait to see them! They all looked absolutely gorgeous in them! I was super excited to get all of them together, but as soon as I grouped them all, the youngest, Avaya, was not too happy! So I decided to get the girls individual shots first while Mom tried calming Avaya and seeing if maybe she was hungry.

First up was Ayla! I thought she would probably be the second most difficult out of the three girls since she was already walking/running, so it was a good idea for her to be next. She was an absolute doll though :) I had gotten some great expressions and smiles from her even though she was very active wanting to get up after I had snapped each shot lol

Next was Ariela, the oldest of the three girls! It had been a while since I had taken Ariela's pictures, but had recognized her right away when she showed me that smile! Ariela loved the camera and it loved her back! She was very good at posing, smiling, and looking at the camera. Of course, after years of practice, why wouldn't she be good at it? lol

All in all, it was a great session! Mom had her hands full with all three girls and kept it together till the end! She was very patient with all of them and was a huge help into getting them to stay still for the pictures! I can't wait to work with them again!

Tracey and the Kids at the Beach!

As one of my last official summer sessions, it was nice to end it with a big bang at the beach! I have known Tracey for years now since we had worked together at a corporate studio and she was always so kind as she admired my photography and eventually decided to schedule a session with me!

Her children I had remembered from taking their portraits in the past, and I had commented on how big they got! There not little kids anymore :( Her youngest, Gunner, was not very fond of taking pictures this day! Not in slightest bit lol. At least Gunner is super photogenic! In the end, we got some great shots! Her girls of course, Caityn and Kristen, we naturals in front of the camera! I noticed girls seem to love taking pictures much more than boys do! Maybe it's just a girl thing lol Anyway, I look forward to working with them again in the future! She already knows what her next location is going to be! ;)

I Love Newborns! | Baby Girl MacKenzey & Baby Boy Colbey

I cannot say it enough, I absolutely love working with newborns! The godmother, a past client of mines, had booked this session with me for the twins' first portraits! Only thing is, we had to wait until both babies were home from the hospital. They had both been born prematurely about 2 months early and unfortunately one of the babies (MacKenzey) had to stay in the hospital a little longer due to heart problems. Thankfully, she had finally got home healthy and we were able to schedule their session.

The first round we definitely had our hands full! :) Even with the help of the godmother, the mother, and myself, we also had a few two year olds also in the mix needing to be distracted and played with while we tried getting the twins asleep! My goal for each newborn session, especially at such a young age, is to get them asleep for their portraits. Once they're asleep,  posing newborns is usually much easier and is ideal since this is the essence of what a newborn mostly does. (And it's also super adorable too!)

I was with them for about 5 hrs, most of this time was spent feeding, changing, and calming the babies into getting them asleep. I absolutely loved doing this though because I got to help, and I love babies <3 Colbey had done great for his individual shots and I was even able to get him in one of my baskets for a beautiful belly pose. MacKenzey on the other hand, was not into taking pictures this time around, but thankfully we had gotten a few in the beginning of the session while Colbey was getting fed. This round, we had also gotten one beautiful shot of the babies together where I had gotten them on there bellies facing each other. I had still wanted to get a pose of them facing the camera showing their faces, and possibly more of MacKenzey. So, we had a scheduled a second session the week after to try and get a few more.

Round 2, it took about 5-6 hours as well. But at least this time we had gotten all the shots we wanted/needed. How funny though, that the moods had switched with the babies. This time, MacKenzey was all about the pictures, and Colbey was not so into it. Luckily, I always have tricks, and we managed to get more of MacKenzey individually and a few great shots of the twins together.

I kept telling the mom (Patricia) that when I have children my ideal pregnancy would be twins (boy and girl.) I'd love to be able to have both grow up together, protect each other, and be there for each other. I can't wait to watch these babies grow into beautiful children and one day adults!

Kyle & Family

What a perfect family that I got to work with! My husband had been telling everyone about my photography services at his work when his boss (Kyle) had asked to set up a session with me! I was so honored to do these for him, I believe this was his first time getting a family photo done as well! His girls were absolutely adorable! Nora, only 3 years old, and Emma, 17 months old, did great! Aside from Emma not wanting to get in a picture with Nora at all (lol), I got some great shots of the girls individually at least!

I have to say the family shot I got of them came out perfect! It has to be one of my favorite family shots to date! I love how natural the smiles are and how perfect the pose is! I can't wait to take more of their family's pictures in the future!

Three Adorable Boys | Back2school Bookworm Minis

I was really excited when Natalie had contact me for my mini-sessions! It was a definitely a great opportunity to get all her adorable boys together in one picture. The location took place in one of my secret spots in the Fall River area and what a perfect day it was for portraits. I had to reschedule my event a few times due to rain, but I am so glad it held out for Natalie's session!

Her boys definitely did better for the portraits than she expected! Her oldest, Neco, was very easy to get to smile! He was so friendly and loved giving me hugs throughout the whole session! Once we got a great group shot, we moved on the individual shots of the boys were we tried incorporating the theme of the session which was the "Back2school Bookworm." We had the two youngest wear the adorable thick-rimmed glasses while looking down at some books I brought.

I thought the session definitely went great and I was so happy with the shots that we got! I hope to see these memorable boys in the future for more portraits, maybe even for Christmas! What a great time to get more portraits, even to hand out to family members as gifts. You can't throw away memories, that's for sure :)

Here are some of the great shots we got from Natalie's session!

Tania is having a new baby girl!

I loved that Tania had contacted me to take her family/maternity portraits! She was very close to her due date and really wanted to get portraits done with little Sophia inside her belly before she arrived. I was happy and honored to do them for her <3

We decided to venture out to the Newport area at Coltstate Park where we managed to get pictures in front this gorgeous stone building as well the stone wall that was there. There was also this very huge willow tree that I just HAD to get pictures of them with as well. You could even go inside the tree (which we did of course) and did a few shots in there.

Her daughter, Ayliyanah, was so excited to be getting her pictures done, but even more excited that she was soon going to have a little sister to play with! Ayliyanah did fantastic for her pictures by herself and with her mommy and daddy. They are such a beautiful family and I can't wait to get pictures of her newest addition, Sophia, when they are ready!
