Kinsley Elizabeth - Newborns

Lauren & Bryan had their baby a week early yay! Baby Kinsley is only 7 days old in these pictures and was an absolute angel for them! <3 We did take about 30-45 min putting her to sleep beforehand, but it was so worth it in the end to get this precious baby in these sleeping positions!

I love being able to see a family grow right before my eyes! I had taken there maternity portraits first, (as you will see on my blog) and not too long after I was hearing about her in the hospital having her! She is such a good baby too, holding her made me want my own one day! Can't wait to see her and the family again for some group portraits with Kinsley's older sister Alexis <3 These were my favorites (was very hard to choose by the way lol)

Devan turns Two!

This session has to be one of my favorites because I just love the theme that was picked! Devan's mom, Nikki, had found me on Facebook through mutual friends and needed to get Devan's 2nd Birthday done. What 's awesome is I had also taken Devan's portraits at a corporate portrait studio I use to own when he was only 9 months old! (This is also the last time Devan had gotten his portraits done lol) I was so happy Nikki had contacted me for his portraits! Not only did we schedule a birthday session for Devan, but we also scheduled a family session coming up next week! I'm so excited to see them again, Nikki is so pleasant and great to work with!

We had gotten only a few shots for the first round of portraits because I had Nikki come to my studio (where Devan had never been before.) As soon as he came inside, he bawled his eyes out. I still tried my best into getting a few really cute shots, tricks and all, but decided to schedule a second round of pictures at her house where she had a nice big backyard. Devan did SO much better that time because he was in an environment he was comfortable in (plus he loves his grandparents so much, they were of course involved in getting Devan to cooperate for the pictures!)

Devan is such a photogenic child, regardless, that you can even tell he was crying in between shots. ;) I am really excited to work with Nikki and her family again this Wednesday. Let's hope it's not a heat wave!

Ava Rose - Newborns

I was so happy to meet Stephanie and her little ones! Stephanie had worked with Tenisha whom has been telling everyone about me and showing off her family portraits that I had taken of her! She had fallen in love with Tenisha's photos and decided to schedule an appointment with me for her new baby Ava and her son Caden.

We had also incorporated her sister's son, Lucas, who had just turned one! It was no easy task getting them all together in one picture so, we just decided to get there pictures done individually for the grandparents :) Afterwards, I was able to get some adorable shots of baby Ava sleeping, which was awesome because she is two months old is these pictures and it is usually harder to put to sleep an older newborn. But, we did it! Caden warmed up to me also during the session while I played with his thomas trains with him. As a result, I got some great smiles!

I can't wait to take Ava's pictures again in just a few months for a possible 6 month session!

Seth & Elise - Couples

I am so glad I was able to take Seth and Elise's photos! It was a hot hot day on this Friday, but we still able to get some really great shots! A neighbors backyard area near a clients' house caught my eye and I thought it would work with Seth & Elise's "country" themed shoot. The cowboy hat that was brought for him didn't fit him very well (LOL) but I was able to improvise and decided to try and incorporate the hat in other ways. I love some of the shots I got, even though Seth wasn't too happy about the heat. ;) We are going to try again for a few more shots another day, but here are some of my favorites!
