Aisha's Girls!

It was nice working with Aisha and her girls again! It's been a whole year since I've seen them and man, have they grown! You never know what to expect with the energetic A girls! Here's just a little sneak peek of their session!

Cassie and Family!

I love being able to work with repeat clients ♥ I had taken Cassie's portraits once before and she was going to be in the states temporarily, so her mother had decided that this would be a perfect time to get some family portraits done! They were very easy to work with and a lot of fun, especially little Riley!

So happy that I was able to do these for you guys!

Aaliyah & Ava | Sisters For Life!

It was so nice to meet Melanie and her girls for the first time! Melanie had participated in a contest I was running for a free photo shoot and won! At first little Ava, who was only four years old, was a little shy with me. I'd ask her a few questions and she would just look up at me with those big brown eyes and smile. She was such a sweetheart and ended up doing great for her photos!  She turned out to be a pro by the end of the session!

Aaliyah on the other hand, only five years old, was a natural in front of the camera! She loved to smile and show off her pearly whites! She posed like a little model and loved taking pictures with her little sister as well! You can tell how much they really love each other and enjoy spending time together. They were so well-behaved for me, and I know even when they get older, that they will be as close as they are now.

Enjoy some of my favorites from their session <3

2013 Highlights

This truly has been one of the most rewarding years ever! To all of my clients: you are all amazing and have inspired me to be a better photographer with all of your stories, experiences, and hardships. I've learned a lot from each of you, even with just working with you all one or two times. Unfortunately because their was so many of you and I hadn't had a chance to update my blog with each individual session as normal, I just wanted to say you were all SO much fun to work with! Regardless of weather, regardless of how maybe your children acted (sometimes their toughies lol) regardless of how  nervous you might have been in the beginning of the session or unsure, I'm just glad to hear each of every one of you enjoy your experiences with me by the end of the session and feel almost of a sense of relief.Weither your a pro at being behind the camera, or it is your first time, I am happy to say that you all were wonderful and easy to work with!

I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for me, and I hope to see a lot of new faces and as well the familiar ones. I would love to continue to be a part of all of your lives in some way because you have all grown to be, not only a client, but a new friend! Thank you all again! From the bottom of my heart! <3

The A Girls!

I really enjoyed working with Aisha and her girls! It was a brisk late afternoon when we arrived at the location we chose. Aisha had made some gorgeous tutu's for the girls and I couldn't wait to see them! They all looked absolutely gorgeous in them! I was super excited to get all of them together, but as soon as I grouped them all, the youngest, Avaya, was not too happy! So I decided to get the girls individual shots first while Mom tried calming Avaya and seeing if maybe she was hungry.

First up was Ayla! I thought she would probably be the second most difficult out of the three girls since she was already walking/running, so it was a good idea for her to be next. She was an absolute doll though :) I had gotten some great expressions and smiles from her even though she was very active wanting to get up after I had snapped each shot lol

Next was Ariela, the oldest of the three girls! It had been a while since I had taken Ariela's pictures, but had recognized her right away when she showed me that smile! Ariela loved the camera and it loved her back! She was very good at posing, smiling, and looking at the camera. Of course, after years of practice, why wouldn't she be good at it? lol

All in all, it was a great session! Mom had her hands full with all three girls and kept it together till the end! She was very patient with all of them and was a huge help into getting them to stay still for the pictures! I can't wait to work with them again!

Tracey and the Kids at the Beach!

As one of my last official summer sessions, it was nice to end it with a big bang at the beach! I have known Tracey for years now since we had worked together at a corporate studio and she was always so kind as she admired my photography and eventually decided to schedule a session with me!

Her children I had remembered from taking their portraits in the past, and I had commented on how big they got! There not little kids anymore :( Her youngest, Gunner, was not very fond of taking pictures this day! Not in slightest bit lol. At least Gunner is super photogenic! In the end, we got some great shots! Her girls of course, Caityn and Kristen, we naturals in front of the camera! I noticed girls seem to love taking pictures much more than boys do! Maybe it's just a girl thing lol Anyway, I look forward to working with them again in the future! She already knows what her next location is going to be! ;)
